Halaqa Notes 9-17:

****Topic: Pray! Before Its Too Late****
After death nothing will go with you except your actions. The Hereafter is not the end, but the beginning of an eternal life. After death there will two kinds of people: ones whose faces are glowing and they are happy to meet thier Lord, and those that are regretful and are dreading their fate. According to Hadith, the first question that will be asked after death will be whether you performed salah during your lifetime. Salah, or prayer, should be taught to children by the age of 7. When the child turns 10 the parent can be start being strict with him/her so that good praying habits are formed. From then until death, a person will be held accountable for every single salaah throughout their life. With Salah there is no compromise. Men and Jinn were created by Allah (swt) for the sole purpose of worshiping Him. Allah (swt) has made prayer obligatory because he knows we will need it to fulfil our spiritual need. Salah has been mentioned in the Quran 700 times. Falah- means the ultimate success. The Asr prayer should be stressed the most because it is in the middle of the day, during the most busy part of the day.

**Message: Perform salah on time.
